Belts for harvesting technology

Consumers have high expectations of fruit and vegetables. They want to buy perfect goods! Damaged potatoes or bruised apples rarely make it into the shopping cart. For many buyers, appearance is synonymous with quality and taste. The harvest must therefore reach the shops undamaged from the field.

The steel flights used so far are too hard and can cause bruises and scrapes on the harvested fruit. To avoid this, we have developed sieving belts with rubberized flights for the agricultural industry, which enable the gentle transport of the crops. The cleats are used, for example, in potato harvesters.

We offer customized elastomer compounds for rubberized flights and conveyor belts that protect the harvested crops. In addition, the lightweight material also reduces the weight of the harvesters – the machines require less fuel and are therefore more environmentally friendly.
