Rotors for progressive cavity pumps

Precise Fluid Transport by Pump Technology

The rotor of a progressive cavity pump is housed by a fixed stator. The different screw geometries of stator and rotor create cavities between these two main pc pump elements. As soon as the rotor turns, the respective fluids are conveyed through these spiral-shaped cavities from the suction to the pressure side of the pump. Rotors are made of steel or stainless steel alloys.

High-Quality Rotors for All Pumping Applications

Rotors made of hardened tool steel offer superior service life in the event of mechanical wear. Stainless steel alloys are used to prevent corrosion. For maximum durability, rotors can also be coated with hard chrome, tungsten carbide or chromium carbide. Other special coatings are available on request.

Artemis rotors are also used in pumps at elevated temperatures. To ensure an efficient and trouble-free operation of the pumping system, our experts adjust the rotor dimensions according to the occurring expansion of both elements of the pumping system. We manufacture single-, two- and multi-lobe rotors for all pumping applications. All designs are developed on the latest 3D software and tailored to the requirements of our customers.

The machinery at our rotor plant allows us to produce rotors with overall lengths of up to eight meters. Our rotors meet high quality standards and are strictly controlled before delivery.

We offer you tailor-made pump systems consisting of stators and rotors from a single source.

Artemis Rotors: Your Benefits at a Glance

Our production is capable of makinging rotors in a wide variety of designs, including single-, two- and multi-lobe rotors. We process rotor lengths of up to 8 meters completely in-house – from the base material to the finished end product.

We develop customized geometries that precisely meet the requirements of our customers. Standard materials, such as tool steels and high-alloy stainless steels, are always available for all rotors. Special materials can be processed on request, enabling us to react flexibly to specific customer requirements.
